Performance and Remuneration: How BIGO Live Hosts Earn

ree

One of the most exciting parts of being a BIGO Live host is that your creativity and consistency can literally turn into income. The BIGO system rewards hosts based on performance — how often you stream, how much you engage, and the Beans you collect.

Even better? U.S. and Canadian hosts now have the option to get paid weekly in addition to monthly payouts, giving you faster access to your earnings.

Here’s a complete breakdown of how performance ties into pay for North America and the UK/IE region.

1. Beans🫘: The Core of BIGO Income

Every gift you receive from viewers is converted into Beans, BIGO’s virtual currency. Every Gift Is purchased with diamonds. These diamonds can be purchased in app or here at m.bigopay.tv. Beans are then exchanged for real-world money once you’ve accumulated at least 6,700 beans, or $32 USD, in your wallet.

  • Local Beans: Gifts from viewers in your home region.

  • Overseas Beans: Gifts from those outside your region.

For UK/IE hosts: Beans are calculated as 100% Local + 50% Overseas = Salary Beans.

For U.S./Canada hosts: Beans are categorized separately, but both count toward goals and pay.

2. Streaming Hours: Your Entry Ticket

No matter how many Beans you earn, you must meet your streaming hour requirements to qualify for payouts. This is BIGO’s way of ensuring hosts stay active and engaged.

  • U.S./Canada: Hours vary by tier, but you must stream consistently. Missing your hourly goal but reaching your bean goal will result in a 50% reduction of salary, Tier A and below.

  • UK/IE: Missing hours means only 50% of your salary is paid out, even if you hit your Bean target.

Think of hours like a minimum “cover charge” — without them, you can’t cash out.

3. Monthly Pay: The Standard Across Regions

Traditionally, BIGO pays hosts monthly. Once your Beans and hours are reviewed, your salary is calculated by your tier (U.S./Canada) or rank (UK/IE).

  • North America Example: 2,500,000 Beans + 50 hours = S14 Tier = about $18,000/month.

  • UK Example: 600,000 Salary Beans = S6 Rank = about $4,880/month.

Monthly pay gives you the big-picture reward for your full month of work.

4. Weekly Pay: Exclusive to U.S. and Canadian Hosts

In addition to monthly payouts, U.S. and Canadian hosts are eligible for weekly pay, as outlined in the High Court Royals Agency’s pay chart.

Requirements for Weekly Pay:

  • Minimum 6 broadcast hours per week.

  • At least 0.5 billable hours per day, max 2 hours per day.

  • At least 3 valid broadcast days per week.

  • Meet your Bean Goal for the tier you’re aiming for.

How it Works:

  • Beans collected are converted at a rate of 210 Beans = $1 USD.

  • You’re paid in-app in Beans.

  • When you hit your Bean Goal and meet the hour requirements, you unlock your Host Payout.

  • High Court Royals Bonus: Reach a tier and you’ll receive a 3% bonus the following month as an agency-exclusive incentive.

Example: Let’s say you stream 10 hours across 4 days in a week, collect enough Beans to hit your tier goal, and meet all requirements. You’ll receive your weekly payout directly in-app — plus the potential agency bonus on top of your monthly earnings.

Important Note: If you don’t meet the requirements, a 25% deduction applies to both host and agency payouts.

5. UK/IE Pay Structure

For UK/IE hosts, there is no weekly payout option — remuneration remains monthly under the April 2025 UK Salary Policy.

The monthly hourly goal is 30 hrs with 0.5 hrs. minimum / 3 hrs maximum billable hours.

Key highlights:

  • Beans formula: 100% Local + 50% Overseas.

  • Ranks range from S14 (6M Beans, ~$40,800) down to F (10k Beans, ~$90).

  • Missing hours but meeting Bean targets = 50% pay reduction.

  • Cross-support gifts are capped to prevent abuse: if over 65% of your Beans come from agency members after your second month, pay is cut in half unless you’re Rank B or higher.

6. Tips to Maximize Weekly and Monthly Income

  • Plan Hours by Week: For U.S./Canada, break goals into weekly chunks so you never miss minimum requirements.

  • Promote Your Streams: Share your schedule on social media to attract more consistent viewers. We offer ambassador and influencer plans. Ask your recruiter and agency.

  • Engage Every Viewer: A simple thank-you for gifts keeps Beans flowing steadily.

  • Aim for Consistency: Weekly pay rewards steady effort, while monthly pay rewards big-picture dedication.

  • Take Advantage of Bonuses: High Court Royals’ 3% bonus for hitting tiers adds up over time.

Why This Matters

BIGO’s pay system is designed to encourage consistent streaming and genuine audience building. Now with weekly pay for U.S. and Canadian hosts, you can see your rewards faster without waiting for the end of the month.

Whether you’re aiming for side income or a full-time career, the formula is the same: stream regularly, hit your Bean goals, and engage deeply with your community.

Final Word + Call to Action

Performance and pay go hand in hand. With both weekly pay (U.S./Canada) and monthly pay (all regions), BIGO gives you the flexibility to turn your passion into real income on a schedule that works for you.

💰 Ready to get started? Commit to your weekly hours, track your Bean goals, and aim for higher tiers. With consistent effort, you’ll unlock steady weekly rewards and big monthly payouts.
